Through what is happening in some part of Haiti and around the world, all servants of Jesus Christ who work for God's kingdom would agree with Eleanor Roosevelt's statement, "You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you feel you cannot do." And I would reinforce this statement with the Scriptures that can be read in Philippians 4.13, "We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us." Furthermore, perseverance, especially during times of turmoil, involves maintaining determination and focus on a goal despite challenges, setbacks, and adversity. It's about pushing forward with resilience and a strong will, even when faced with difficuities, and not giving in to discouragement or despair. The above facts are possible answers for anyone who wants to ask, "How do you manage to continue working with communities in situations of unrest of any kind?" We would simply like to answer, "We don't know, except that Jesus did it so well, and we are in joy!" Despite many kinds of tribulations, IFOSUD Haiti continues impacting lives of hundreds of people in its targeted communities with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Also, we continue to provide Technical Assistance to guarantee the well-being of our beneficiaries in the Farmer Field School Program (FFS) and school children in the Future Farmers of Haiti program (FFH).
